Camp Ten Trees, a pioneering residential camp program in the Pacific Northwest, caters to LGBTQ+ youth, youth from LGBTQ+ and non-traditional families, and their allies, aged 8-17. This camp offers a unique space where diverse youth with shared experiences can come together to form their own community. Along with traditional camp activities like swimming, archery, and nature hikes, Camp Ten Trees provides age-appropriate workshops. These workshops cover topics such as identity, issues of oppression and privilege, youth coalition building, social justice, and more, fostering a well-rounded experience.
After an extended hiatus due to the COVID pandemic, Camp Ten Trees is excited to announce its return in 2024. The camp's commitment to creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all its campers remains stronger than ever. This return marks a significant step towards continuing its mission of empowering young individuals in a supportive community setting.
